GATE/SAS

I’m so excited to get to meet many of you on our GATE parent meeting. We will meet on Tuesday, February 15 on Zoom. Our meeting ID number is: 201-077-6665, no passcode needed. Please get your kids off to bed, enjoy your dinner, and meet with me from 7:00-8:00 pm.

We will talk about our GATE and SAS program at Serrania. I will also share OLSAT-8 information for all 2nd grade parents, including how to read the results and plan for the future.

Finally, we’ll talk about steps to identify children at Serrania, for our gifted and talented program, and next steps if your child has recently been identified as gifted.

I look forward to seeing you from my dining room at home to your home!

"Practical Strategies for Guiding Gifted Children"

Parents play an essential role in a gifted child's development, and guiding gifted children toward success is often a concern. How can we know if we are doing the right things? This session will provide practical information to help parents better understand their gifted child’s special needs and strategies to build the frustration tolerance, resilience, and work habits necessary for success.
